About Bethlehem

Bethlehem Lutheran Church was founded in 1854 by a small group of German immigrants.
In the past century and a half, we have grown from a congregation whose first services were held
in the back of a harness shop to one with a ministry that is rooted in our immediate neighborhood
and branches out through Middletown and into surrounding counties.

• Sunday School classes for children and adults

• Sacrament of Communion served the second Sunday of each month

• A large sanctuary – with its long center aisle – that has proved to be popular with wedding parties
